Despite having limited exposure on radio or television, Cannibal Corpse has amassed a cult following, particularly through the releases of their early albums1.
Their music primarily falls within the death metal genre, with thematic focuses on gore, death, torture, cannibalism, and zombies. They are currently signed to Metal Blade Records and have been active in the music scene from 1988 to the present2.

It also was the first studio album to feature producer Erik Rutan on lead guitar, replacing Pat O’Brien in February 20214.
